I would have no idea that this plastic spoon flower vase was made out of a plastic bottle and spoons. This is a great way to use the best out of waste or items that you may have lying around the house. This DIY plastic spoon flower vase tutorial by Lista Tsurayya on YouTube is so easy to follow along with. It’s super crafty and this can be made with any color materials or items to decorate this. I love how the decorated plastic spoons come out and blossoms on top. Honestly, it reminds me of a peacock for some reason.

Materials:

  • 1.5-liter plastic bottle
  • scissors
  • 20 x 29.5cm felt/kain flannel
  • hot glue gun
  • plastic spoons
  • glitter foam sheet
  • flower decor buttons

Directions:

First, start off with a 1.5-liter plastic bottle that is 16 cm long. Then, take the felt paper and use the hot glue gun to glue everything together by rolling the plastic bottle. Make sure to cover every spot of the bottle.

Next, cut off the bottom handle of the plastic spoon. Take a glitter foam paper and cut it horizontally long ways in strips. Hot glue gun the strips on the back and around the plastic spoon. Make a lot of these so you’re able to just glue them onto the bottle in the end.

In conclusion, I think this would be a great craft to start on and make. I usually have a lot of flowers and am lacking vases. This is such an inexpensive DIY craft to do because I would most likely have these materials in my pantry. Honestly, this looks like one of the vases that I have at home. Some people might find this tacky, but from the tutorial, I would be fooled unless I looked up very close.
