Have you ever been sewing something with your machine, when all of a sudden, your foot pedal slipped, messing you up mid stitch?
Yeah? Me too, and it isn’t fun.
If you’ve been in that situation far too many times, then you probably want a way to fix it. Luckily for you, not only is there a solution, but it’s one you can sew up yourself!
It doesn’t take much time to sew this up, so it really is a quick fix, and once you make it, you’ll be so happy you did.
A nonstick pad will keep your foot pedal in place so you’ll never have this problem again.
All you’ll need is:
- Fabric of your choice
- Ultra-firm stabilize yardage
- Nonstick rug liner (or something similar used to keep things in place on the floor)
- Clips or clamps
- Iron
- Basting Glue
- Quilting ruler
- Rotary cutter
- Fusible bias tape
You’ll create an adorable lining to your nonstick pad using the fabrics and the bias tape. It’s a decent amount of supplies, but it’s done in next to no time at all.
