I think of summer when I think of watermelon, and this DIY macrame watermelon slice fits perfectly for the season. Macrame School’s tutorial on YouTube is easy to watch and follow along with if you have the basic macrame knowledge patterns. There are no actual instructions or talking in the video, but he shows everything up close with detail. Macrame can get tricky in the beginning, but everything is done with your fingers. It takes practice to master it down. Also, this would be hard for beginners to learn or if you’re not as familiar with macrame. At first, I was confused about how to make this DIY macrame watermelon slice because I haven’t had much practice. However, this is still an amazing summer project to work on if you need new decorations.

Overall, this is a fun and vibrant wall decor to hang up in the living room or bedroom. I know this is an amazing craft to make and macrame is super trendy right now. Macrame decor can also be pricey so DIY is best if you’re on a budget. Even if you’re not a budget, it’s a great hobby to pick up and pass time. I love this design so much, and can’t wait to try it out.
