Back to school season is upon us, meaning if you’re on your way to college, it’s time to get the decor you want for your dorm.

Drew from Lone Fox has got our backs once again and has given us 4 DIY decor options, all using things from IKEA. I love all of them, and they’re super easy to make!

Every dorm bed needs some comfy & cozy pillows that will give your dorm the homey vibe it needs. Instead of buying an expensive lumbar pillow, try turning a rug into one!

All you need is a cheap rug, something to stuff it with, a needle and thread, Sew up 3 sides, stuff it, sew up the last side, and boom, you’ve got a cute pillow!

In need of some jewelry storage? Easy fix! Just use a cutting board, some nails, and a small piece of wood with some duct tape to make a jewelry holder.

Watch Lone Fox’s video below for more on how this is done. Practically anyone can do it!

This may be the easiest DIY on the list. Simply take some storage bins and use the fabric of your choice along with some fabric glue to decorate them!

For specific folds and cuts of fabric that make this whole process easier, watch Drew do it in his video below for Lone Fox.

This is my favorite DIY of the bunch. Take a shelving unit and turn it into an adorable macrame shelf. Just assemble your shelf, then use some macrame cording to weave around it.

Drew uses a back and forth motion, making the weaved look. It’s gorgeous and incredibly simple to do!
