Coca Cola cans, the Iconic Beverage are so brightly colored and universally recognized throughout the world. The cans are perfect for all kinds of DIY Crafts, so I always have at least a box full saved in my garage in case I find a project that calls for them that I just have to make. I found such a project yesterday on Youtube, the gorgeous images in the video really inspired me, yet the directions looked very thorough, quick, and really simple overall. I knew I had to make this immediately, the very first minute I saw it. I started my DIY Coke Bottle Christmas Tree by first putting my mesh safety gloves on, this is super important because this project could definitely cut you, so I cannot stress safety enough when you are making this DIY Coke Can Tree. Then I used an Exacto Knife to cut the ends off each Coke Can and Metal Cutting Shears to cut the cans down the middle.
Then I cut the flatted put coke cans into sections and made little pointy cones, some coke side up, some inverted. I secured them using a heavy-duty stapler that is suitably advised for metal projects.
Then I just got out my trusty hot glue gun and put my masterpiece together. I attached all the cones to my Coke bottle according to the measured pattern I had drawn with a white chalk pen.
This was one of the cutest most inexpensive projects I have ever made, I recommend it highly!
