I have made so many Mason Jar Crafts, I just can’t get enough of them. I always keep a couple of cases on hand in the craft room in case I have children visiting or I find a new Mason Jar idea I haven’t done yet. This Mason Jar Lid Ornament tutorial I found on Youtube was really great for me because I have made so many projects involving just the jar, it has left me with a box full of lone lids. The other best thing about this project is the fact that I get to use my new Cricut Machine! So to get this Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Decor started I first got all my materials together, I used thick flannel fabric from JoAnn’s (from the Snuggles line), Mason Jar lids, twine, YH TV, and of course a Cricut Machine. From my web browser, I visited Love SVG to download my text for the ornaments. You then find the image you want to use then click on it, then scroll to the bottom of the page and download it. Then I ironed my Cricut images onto the flannel fabric.
ThenI just tied a simple piece of twine to the inside of the jar lid. Then just roughly cut my flannel circles and mounted them on the center lid insert.
Then you just screw on the lid and trim the excess flannel fabric and hang on your Christmas Tree. This is one of the easiest most satisfying projects I have ever made. I know everyone is going to love these DIY Mason Jar Lid Ornaments.
