Many people think of deviled eggs as a holiday recipe, but I love to eat deviled eggs all year round. Deviled eggs are a great dish to bring to a pot luck because most everyone loves them. I was recently invited to a pot luck at my church and the bible school teacher wanted me to bring some deviled eggs. I recently found a fried deviled egg video recipe tutorial Flavas By Dame Dash on YouTube, and I thought this would be an interesting twist to my traditional deviled egg recipe. These eggs were great for so many reasons, they aren’t messy and they have a crispy golden crunchy exterior that everyone seems to love. I started my boiled eggs by simmering them for 10 minutes and then submerging them in an ice bath. This method enables the shells to just glide off and makes an excellent start to any recipe that requires boiled eggs. The top of the finished deviled egg dish almost always has a sprinkling of paprika, smoked paprika is my favorite.
