The Best Things In Life Are Free– Including This Quilt Pattern
There’s nothing that gets me quite as excited as something that doesn’t cost me money, especially if it involves quilting. That’s why I’m elated to share this free pattern with you.
The “Greenery” quilt pattern by Maywood Studio is not only a free pattern (that you can get by clicking here), but it’s not difficult to make!
Laura Ann Coia from SewVeryEasy is back with yet another YouTube tutorial, this time for this gorgeous modern design. If the written pattern isn’t enough to get this done, the tutorial will do it for you.
So enough of my rambling, let’s get started on this beauty!
How It’s Done
To make this quilt, you’ll be sewing two types of blocks. One is square borders around a single cornerstone, and the other has the cornerstone as well, but with intersecting lines.
To connect the quilt and create a finished top, you’ll use solid triangles that match your color scheme all the way around the quilt. The arrangement is made vertically, leaving space for these.
Watch Laura lay it out in her tutorial below. I guarantee you’ve made these blocks before, but once you put them together like this, the end result is unforgettable.
