With some pinwheels, some chevron blocks, some basic triangles, some stars, and some borders, a gorgeous quilt is the result, and it’s something you’ll stare at nonstop once it’s done.

Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Company reveals how to create this beauty in one of her video tutorials. It’s a quilt that seems all too familiar, but the final result is something you’ve never seen before.

How It’s Done

As you can see from the diagram above, the quilt is made up of 4 main block types, along with a few borders: a pinwheel, a chevron, a star, and a triangle.

The majority of the blocks you’ll be making for this quilt are the triangles, which act as the second of the three borders. These triangles are composed of two half square triangles, making it super simple.

The pinwheels act as cornerstones of the chevron blocks, and those both act as a surrounding piece to the stars, which center the quilt top. If you know how to sew these blocks, arranging it is all you need to worry about, and frankly, it’s a breeze.
