Since 1967, Chick-fil-A’s delicious cole slaw has been a staple side dish for fans of the restaurant chain. Unfortunately, the iconic slaw hung in the towel in 2016, and we all were devastated.

If you were just as sad as I was to lose the deliciousness that is Chick-fil-A’s slaw, then do I have some good news for you. There’s a way to have it back in your life!

It’s a copycat recipe, and it’s pretty much identical to the original Since you can’t have it in the drive-thru, you can have it at home! All you have to do it make it.

So how do you make Chick-fil-A’s iconic cole slaw? Easy! First thing’s first: you’ll need to gather your ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 4 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 bags (10 oz. each) finely shredded cabbage, chopped into roughly 1/8″
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots

Now that you’ve grabbed everything you need, you can make the iconic slaw. Start by making your dressing. Pour the vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, and salt into a bowl, then whisk together.

Next, add your mayonnaise and incorporate that into your vinegar mixture to finish the dressing. From here, pour in your cabbage and carrots.

Mix everything together thoroughly, then refrigerate the finished slaw for at least 2 hours before serving it. It’s like having Chick-fil-A on command!
