Ziggy Pop Quilt Top

A unique quilt top made easy? That’s something I’m always looking for. I’ve garnered quite a few quilting skills over the years, but there’s only so much I’ve seen online.

Over and over again I’d find the same old quilt patterns, and I wanted something completely different, but I didn’t want to take the time to learn a whole new quilting skill.

Instead, I looked for a block that was made from something I already knew, and I hit the jackpot! This ziggy pop quilt is exactly what I was looking for, and I know you’ll love it too.

Sewing It Up

First, you’ll want to pick out which fabric you want to be in each position. This will dictate how each fabric is used in the quilt top.

So, pick one that you’ll be keeping as a main square, one for the longer portion of the pattern, and one that will tend to be a bit shorter.

It may not look like it, but believe it or not, all you’ll be sewing up to make this stunning quilt top is half square triangles. The finished quilt pattern is all in the arrangement!

To make this stunner, you’ll need 3 patterns/colors of fabric. Some will be plain squares, and some will be half square triangles.

There will be 3 different half square triangles: one made with every pair possible of the available fabrics. Then you’ll be moving those half square triangles around to form the pattern.
