Campfire Cobbler

I’m a big fan of cobbler. Peach, berry, apple… it doesn’t matter the flavor. I’ll eat it if it’s cobbler. A mixed fruit cobbler is an easy way to begin celebrating the spring season.

Now, let’s grab that cast iron skillet and get cooking. Take a large plastic bag and combine your fruit and a portion of your sugar. Fully coat the fruit in the sugar and set it aside.

In another large bag, mix together your Bisquick and your milk. Knead it with your hands until it is combined completely.

When you’re done with that, grab your large cast iron skillet and butter it thoroughly. Add your fruit mixture and the Bisquick topping and sprinkle it with your remaining sugar.

Cover this mixture with foil, then cook over your campfire until the biscuits are cooked through, not doughy, and the fruit is warm and bubbly. This should take a little under an hour.

Let this cool for 20 minutes, then serve. Click here to read Delish‘s full recipe so you can make it perfectly!

Enjoy!
