A Very Brady Renovation

Growing up, I was a huge fan of The Brady Bunch. They were the family every kid wanted to be in: with a ton of awesome siblings and a gorgeous house, what isn’t to love?

If you love the show as much as I do, you’ve probably heard that HGTV remodeled the iconic Brady home for a TV special called A Very Brady Renovation!

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the Brady siblings reunited and were each tasked with renovating a room in the house to match the original Brady decor. They even restored the backyard!

Who’s Involved?

Original cast members Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) reunited for the series.

If you’re a huge HGTV fan (like I am,) then you’ll be excited to know that a ton of well-known HGTV stars also are making an appearance on the show, too!

Who, you ask? Property Brothers‘ Jonathon and Drew Scott, Good Bones Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine, Flea Market Flip’s Lara Spencer, Restored by the Fords siblings Leanne and Steve Ford and Hidden Potential‘s Jasmine Roth, to be exact.

I don’t know about you, but I’m incredibly excited. I loved The Brady Bunch, and I love renovation shows, so combining them is a match made in heaven!

Back in August of this year, HGTV bought the house for $3.5 million, outbidding N’Sync member Lance Bass.  Originally Bass was granted the property, but he was outbid last minute.

Bass was reportedly heartbroken by the outbidding. Luckily for Bass, he may actually get to be involved with the project after all. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

With this amazing of a team, I can’t wait to watch! Keep your eyes open in September of 2019, because that’s when it’s supposed to premiere!
