Valentine’s Day is almost here. Most people go out for dinner on Valentine’s Day, but a lot of people seem to overlook another romantic meal: breakfast!
Not only is it the most important meal of the day, it can be the most romantic. I mean, people dream about an adorable breakfast in bed for a reason!
So if you want to make someone you love a super sweet breakfast in bed, may I suggest this: a bacon-wrapped sausage heart with eggs in the center.
If you have kids, this is a great Valentine’s Day breakfast for them. They can share it and all easily get full. It’s a ton of food, and it’s beyond delicious!
How It’s Made
YouTuber emmymadeinjapan opts for a kielbasa sausage to make the heart. These sausages already come bent and pretty girthy, making the bacon wrapping easy!
Obviously, you can make this with any kind of sausage you prefer. After you lay out the sausage in your heart shape, wrap it up in bacon and set it on a baking sheet.
To hold this all in place, she uses toothpicks. Pop this in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.
Finally, crack in your eggs. You can pop this in the oven until the eggs are cooked through the way you’d like them. Decorate it however you’d like, and you’re ready to serve it!
