I always lose my headphones. If they aren’t missing, they’re tangled in my bag, and end up with a ton of knots that take me forever to get untangled.
Having a convenient place to store my headphones makes them easier to find, and having one that keeps them positioned so they don’t tangle is essential.
This little taco does all of those things, plus it’s adorable!
Making it doesn’t get any easier! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Craft felt in beige, red, yellow, and green
- Optional pastels or chalk a few shades darker than the beige felt
- Black plastic
- White paint pen
- Black permanent marker
- Snap closure
- E6000 or another craft glue
First, cut out a circle of the beige felt. If you’d like, use the dark beige pastels to make the taco look toasted.
Then, cut a curvy circle out of the green felt to make the lettuce. Make sure this is larger than the beige felt, but not by much. Cut some half ovals for tomato, and little strips of yellow for some cheese.
Use your craft glue to layer the felt. Glue the tomato and cheese to the taco shell first.
Then glue on your lettuce, trim any excess felt, and glue on your snap closures.
Finally, use a hole punch to punch out two black circles. Use the white marker to make one dot on each black circle, then glue them down as eyes. Use your black marker to draw a half circle for the smile.
That’s it, you’re done! Just roll up your headphones, stick them in this cute little taco, and you’ll never have to deal with a tangled mess again!
