With fall well on its way, it’s time to bring back those desserts that remind you of the season. Think pecan, sweet potato, pumpkin, and more. One of my personal favorites? Apple.
Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t always have time to make an apple pie every day. As delicious as they are, they’re also a little time consuming, so there are other ways to get that flavor fast.
For example, one way is through this 1 minute apple mug cake. With a few simple ingredients and a couple of minutes, you’ve got a delicious snack at the ready.
If you want to make this yourself, let’s start by gathering your ingredients and your mug. Then let’s get started.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this deliciousness:
- 1/3 cup apple, diced
- 1/2 tsp + 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
First, combine your apples, 1/2 tsp brown sugar, and cinnamon. Microwave for 30 seconds (Em’s Kitchen uses a 1000 watt microwave).
Now, add your butter, milk, vanilla, the rest of the brown sugar, flour, and baking powder. Mix until throughly combined, then microwave for an additional 1 minute.
Now your delicious mug cake is all ready to eat! Not only is this one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever made, but it’s insanely delicious, it’s portable, and it’s ready in no time!
