There’s nothing quite like a delicious chocolate chip cookie. If you need to make dessert for a crowd, you really can’t go wrong with making a batch of these. They’re a crowd favorite!
Sometimes, you might crave a chocolate chip cookie, but you want something with a little more oomph. Maybe you add some almonds, or some peanut butter, or some fruit…
But have you ever thought about adding Fireball?
That’s right, chocolate chip cookies with the added yumminess of Fireball Whisky. It’s the perfect chocolate chip cookie twist for fall!
I found the recipe from a blog called Cupcakes For Dinner, and I don’t think I’ll want these cookies plain ever again.
Here’s how to make them. You’ll need:
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 1/4 cup (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, browned
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Fireball Whisky
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 – 2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 24 chocolate melts (or something similar, like chocolate chunks)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Brown your butter and cool it to room temperature, submerging 1/2 a cinnamon stick in it while it cools. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
In another bowl, cream together cooled butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add vanilla, and beat in the eggs. Finally, add in your whisky.
