Mountain Dew recipes are something I’ve been on a kick with recently. It seems like you can use the soda for every kind of dessert there is!

I’ve written about donuts, brownies, boxed cake and more, but I can’t believe I never thought of Mountain Dew cheesecake. This one sounds like the most delicious one yet!

Once again, I found the recipe from FunFoods. This guy always has the most creative recipes, and this cheesecake is no different.

The sour sweetness of the soda works perfectly with the cheesecake, so it’s just as delicious as it is unorthodox! Luckily, it’s easy to make, so let’s get started by gathering your ingredients.

You will need:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup Mountain Dew soda
  • 8-9 graham crackers, crushed
  • 5 tbsp. melted butter
  • 16 oz. (2 packages) softened cream cheese
  • 14 oz. (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
  • green and yellow food coloring

Making The Cheesecake

Begin by making a syrup out of your sugar, corn syrup, and Mountain Dew. Watch FunFood‘s video below for details on that. In the meantime, crush up your graham crackers in a Ziploc bag.

Add your melted butter to the graham crackers and press it into the bottom of a springform pan. Refrigerate. In another bowl, beat together your cream cheese and your condensed milk.

Now it’s time to put it all together. Add a few tablespoons of your cooled down syrup to your cheesecake batter. Then, separate it and color most of it green and some yellow.

Add the two back together on top of the graham cracker crust. Swirl together until you get a really cool design, then refrigerate until set.

Take off the springform pan and you’re ready to serve it!
