All of them are super easy to make and are unbelievably cheap, so you’ll have no problem getting these done before your barbecue starts!

Wood Flag Wall Hanging

The main material to make this wall hanging is completely free– it’s 10 paint stirrers from the hardware store! I already had all of the other materials, so for me, I didn’t pay a penny for this!

All you need to do is paint 7 sticks like a flag, let it dry, and hot glue them to 3 more sticks to hold them together like a base. Add buttons or whatever else you have as stars, and it’s ready to go!

Red White & Blue Flower Crown

This flower crown is super simple to make. Just get some red, white, and blue flowers and a plain headband. Hot glue them on, wait for it to dry, and you’re done!

Fabric Hanging Banner

Making this banner couldn’t be any easier. Just cut out some triangles of the fabric(s) of your choice. Then take a piece of yarn and glue the triangles to it with hot glue, folding the fabric over the yarn.

Red White & Blue Yarn Balls

This is the most difficult DIY out of the 6, but it’s still super simple. You’ll just need some yarn, mod podge, water, and a partially inflated balloon.

Dilute the mod podge with water, then dunk the yarn in and wrap it around the balloon. Don’t do it too tightly, and let it dry. Pop the balloon, take it out, and you’re done!

United States Button Canvas

Easiest canvas art ever! Just trace the shape of the U.S., then glue buttons to it. I filled mine in too, just for some extra color!

Decorated Mason Jars

To make the striped mason jar, paint a mason jar white. Once it dries, put on stripes of painters tape around it, ten paint the open gaps red. Peel it off once dry, and you’ve got a distressed jar!

As for the blue jar, just paint it blue and hot glue some white buttons on once it’s dry, or paint on some white stars. These are perfect for storing flowers!
