The Most Unique Smoothies You’ll Ever Try
When it comes to hot weather, nothing hits the spot quite like a smoothie does. Cold, fruity, nutritious and refreshing, smoothies give us everything we could possibly want and more.
This summer, I stumbled upon a YouTube video by The Domestic Geek that goes over 5 sweet and sour smoothies that I’ve been downright addicted to. They’re so good!
From strawberry lemonade to cherry bomb and key lime pie, these smoothies are a little out of the ordinary and you’ll definitely love the twists they bring.
Here are the recipes so you can get started on making your own:
Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie
- ½ cup lemonade
- ½ lemon, zest and juice
- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 banana
- Honey or agave to taste
Fuzzy Peach Smoothie
- ½ cup peach nectar or juice
- 1 peach, fresh or frozen and diced
- 1 banana
- ½ cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
Cherry Bomb Smoothie
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup cherries, fresh or frozen and pitted
- ½ cup pineapple, fresh or frozen and diced
- 1 banana
Key Lime Smoothie
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 1-2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 banana
- 1 lime, zest and juice 2 graham crackers
Cranberry Blueberry Smoothie
- ½ cup cranberry juice
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- ½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 banana

With any smoothie recipe, you need to make sure to use a good quality blender, adjusting the ingredients as needed to fit the taste and texture you’re looking for.
I personally like to add my liquids into the blender first, but this isn’t a necessity. If you have trouble blending, you can always blend just a couple ingredients at a time until it’s smooth.
