Summertime is the only time of year where I don’t want to cook. It’s so hot outside, and nothing makes a summer day more miserable than a hot oven or a hot stove.

How do we get the meals we want without cooking, though? What do we do to feel satisfied without turning on those appliances?

Well, besides obviously using your handy dandy microwave or a toaster, you can try one of these 5 no-cook meals. They’re absolutely perfect for summer.

Some of them are more obvious, and some of them are a little different, but one thing is guaranteed with these recipes: you’re gonna love ’em!

Gazpacho

This cold summer soup is a great way to eat without the heat! Some gazpachos require simmering, but not all do, so check out the recipe above to get started, then do a quick Google search if this isn’t the gazpacho for you.

Cold Sandwich

This goes without saying, but sandwiches don’t always need heat. With some deli meats and cheeses, everything is ready to stack on to your bread of choice.

Want something even quicker? Just whip up an easy peanut butter and jelly, and you’ll be all ready to go! What could possibly be easier than that?

Salad

Much like a cold sandwich, most salads are easy and heatless as well. You can buy pre-made salads at your local market, or buy the ingredients individually to make your own.

If you want j in your salad, a lot of stores sell pre-cooked, pre-diced meat as well, so there’s no excuse not to get your protein in. With the right dressing, it’s just as delicious as it is easy!

Wraps

Much like sandwiches, you can take all of the cold ingredients you’ve been into lately and wrap them up in a tortilla or a large piece of lettuce. Easy!

Zoodles

If you haven’t had zoodles before, then you are truly missing out. It’s pasta, but low carb and full of vitamins and flavor!

Zoodles are basically spiralized zucchini. You can add any sauce or veggie combo you’d like on these babies and they’re beyond delicious. You can thank me later.
