When you carve a pumpkin, usually you throw away the insides: pulp, seeds, and some of the meat. You don’t actually have to do that, and it breaks my heart whenever people do.
There are so many recipes you can make with pumpkin guts. Now, I know you can obviously make pumpkin seeds and pumpkin puree, but there are a lot of pumpkin recipes people tend to neglect.

Yep, you can make one of Harry Potter’s favorite drinks! YouTuber Bryton Taylor uses squash to make hers, but you can easily use pumpkin as well. Any squash and/or pumpkin like vegetable is perfect!

Not only is risotto on its own delicious, but the addition of pumpkin somehow makes it even more creamy and delicious. There are a ton of pumpkin risotto recipes on the internet, but you’ll love this one.

Pumpkin Butter
Pumpkin butter on some cinnamon raisin bread is probably the best fall breakfast you’ll ever have. Put this in your oatmeal or even on some regular toast for an out of this world flavor boost.

Pumpkin Hummus
Who knew pumpkin could make a great hummus? This is one of the easiest recipes to make because all you need to do it throw it all in a blender!
