Take a plant pot like the Hjortron from IKEA along with an open lampshade like the Brunsta. Use industrial strength glue to glue the dish of the planter to the top of the lampshade.

Flip it upside down, spray paint it if you’d like, then put your pot and your plant in what was the bottom of the lampshade. Now you’ve got a super cool planter!

Decoupage A Tray To Show Off Your Personality

Buy a simple tray and use some modge podge to stick on some photos of your choice. This couldn’t be any easier, and it adds a lot of style to any area you decide to put it.

Whether you add a ton of photos or just one, it will look incredible in your home. I put mine on my coffee table and it looks fantastic!

Make An Extension Cord Something You Want To Show Off

This is the easiest DIY of them all. Take your extension cord and make it pretty. Simply cover the areas you don’t want colored, and spray paint the rest.

Then, making sure there’s absolutely no exposed wire, you can use macrame cording or whatever else you’d like to wrap the main cord, making it look more presentable.

It may be a small DIY, but it makes everything look a lot more polished.
